Job Description
Our client is actively seeking a talented Project Manager to work with a team located in Denver, CO. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity with our client.
This position is an onsite opportunity.
Job Overview:
The role of the Project Manager is to plan, execute, and finalize projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and sub-contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan. Looking for a Project Manager with a solid background and experienced with scheduling as a means to assist in managing complicated, phased projects.
Job Responsibilities:
- Heavy emphasis on planning and scheduling project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
- Track project milestones and deliverables.
- Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis.
- Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals.
- Direct and manage project development from beginning to end.
- Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
- Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents.
- Effectively communicate project expectations and support the Superintendent in coordinating crews, coordinating sub-contractors, material purchases, and equipment needs.
- Draft and submit budget proposals and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary.
- Where required, negotiate with other department managers for the acquisition of required personnel from within the company.
- Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders.
- Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel.
- Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation and presentations.
- Determine the frequency and content of status reports from the project team, analyze results, and troubleshoot problem areas.
- Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise project team members and contractors, and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.
- Build, develop, and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the project.
- Conduct project evaluations upon completion and create a recommendations report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
- Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, or construction management and over five years of experience with advanced knowledge, obtainable usually through a combination of experience and continuing education; or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Strong knowledge of computer software, such as Primavera P6, Viewpoint Vista, Auto CAD, Viewpoint Team, Microsoft Office, and SharePoint.

A reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role is $120,000 - $125,000 per year.
The disclosed pay range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. The compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case, such as skills and experience levels.
