Our client is actively seeking a talented Civil Designer to work with. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity with our client.
This position is a remote opportunity.
Job Overview:
The Civil Designer is responsible for all drafting & design components for commercial projects within the Oil & Gas & Renewables industries. They will be responsible for the design and development of Engineering project deliverables. They generally will assist with the development and execution of Engineering exhibits, maps, and construction documents, to include, but limited to grading, drainage, roadway, and utilities.
Job Responsibilities:
- Draft both 2D and 3D designs of pads, roadways, utilities, and other infrastructure systems for proposed projects.
- Produce engineering plans & construction documents on a variety of projects related to commercial development in the Oil & Gas sector, Renewable Energy, and Land  Development sectors.
- Design roadways using utilizing corridors and other C3D grading objects.
- Perform grading on pad sites and other commercial projects utilizing C3D surface creation tools
- Read and interpret civil engineering drawings and building plans to determine where to place infrastructure.
- Study Maps and read maps and land surveys to note land grading, nearby structures, and other factors that could affect the placement of infrastructure.
- Follow Coding Regulations to adhere to city, county, and state laws regarding design
- and stay up to date on local coding laws to ensure that designs stay within legal parameters.
- Review sketches and drawings of proposed designs to ensure that all codes are being followed and plans are accurate.
- AS Degree in Engineering and/or AS Degree from a Trade school program. Can substitute experience for education.
- 2+ years of experience in a civil designer role.
- Demonstrated experience performing grading and site design for Civil Engineering Projects

A reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role is $62,800 - $67,800 per year.
The disclosed pay range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. The compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case, such as skills and experience levels.
