Job Description

Type of Engagement: 12-month W2 contract (Not open to 3rd party C2C consultants. Visa sponsorship is not available. Must be able to work on W2 basis without visa sponsorship now & in the future.)
Work Location: Hybrid position located in Atlanta, GA 30309 (3 days in the office per week).

Candidates must reside in the Atlanta, GA area.

Must-Haves skills & experience:
  • 3 to 5 years of proven experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, and AI.
  • Skilled in Python, R, or similar. Python is highly preferred.
  • Experience with Machine Learning frameworks and tools (e.g., Azure, Databricks, Google Cloud).
  • Experience with Data Visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills. 
  • Able to work on W2 basis without visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Job Overview:
We are seeking a talented Data Scientist to support our client's AI exploration and implementation to enhance their business operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying potential use cases for AI and leading efforts to build solutions for these use cases by leveraging machine learning algorithms and AI tools.

As part of our client’s leading-edge advanced analytics team, you will help drive analytics across the organization to improve customer experience and optimize operations. This is an individual contributor role, providing autonomy in technical and analytical choices, including determining the appropriate modeling techniques and making design decisions.

Essential Job Responsibilities:
  • Identify and evaluate potential AI use cases to enhance business operations.
  • Lead the development and implementation of AI solutions for identified use cases.
  • Utilize machine learning algorithms and AI tools to build and deploy models.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into business processes.
  • Partners with IT to effectively migrate analytical models from prototype to production.
  • Conduct data analysis to uncover insights and support decision-making.
  • Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the AI solution development process.
  • Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI and machine learning technologies.
  • Self-starter and a multi-tasker who can work independently under tight timelines

Required Skills & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • 3 to 5 years of proven experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, and AI.
  • Strong programming skills in Python, R, or similar. Python is highly preferred.
  • Experience with Machine Learning frameworks and tools (e.g., Azure, Databricks, Google Cloud).
  • Experience with Data Visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and make autonomous technical and analytical decisions.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. 

The pay rate range for this role is $59.00 - $64.00 per hour.
The disclosed pay range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.  The compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case, such as skills and experience levels.
