Type of Engagement: 6-month contract (Not open to 3rd party C2C consultants. Visa sponsorship is not available)
Work Location: Charlotte, NC. Professional will work remotely after a probationary period of 60 days.
Candidates must reside in the Charlotte, NC area.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Proficient in the use of Excel (ex. pivot tables creation, formatting data tables, intermediate formulas)
Big Bonus Points if you Have:
- Familiarity with Munis, eBuilder, and/or Workday software
- Experience performing similar duties in a local government, utilities (Water/Sewer, Stormwater, Power, Natural Gas, Telecommunication), land development, or construction sector
Our client is seeking a Financial Analyst for a 6-month project to focus on accounting and general financial analysis associated with fixed, intangible, rolling stock, and donated assets. Daily work will revolve heavily around reconciling transactions in accordance with the internal Asset Policy and Generally Accepted Accounting Principle (GAAP) and compiling associated reporting.
The position will also be supporting efforts in conjunction with the Accounting teams’ staff to document procedures and processes associated with asset reporting activities. Satisfactory completion of these activities will require written and verbal communication skills, business writing skills, attention to detail, and a willingness to engage in cross functional communication with relevant staff to complete their duties.
After initial training and onboarding, the position is expected to perform their work autonomously with periodic check-ins with the supervisor and/or other staff.

A reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role is $27.00 - $30.00 per hour. The disclosed pay range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. The compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case, such as skills and experience levels.
