Our client is actively seeking a talented Senior Engagement Manager to work with a team located in San Fransisco, CA. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity with our client.
This position is an onsite opportunity.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of 15+ members based out of India, Mexico and US to support a US-based client for different analytical engagements
- Work with the team to build credit strategies for underwriting (approve/decline decisioning, initial credit line assignment, etc.), enhanced validation (income verification, employment verification, fraud review, etc.), portfolio management (credit line increase and decrease programs, etc.), and loss mitigation (collections and recoveries)
- Work with the team to develop, validate and monitor ML models for all functional areas across credit and fraud risk
- Liaise with senior leadership in the client company and understand key focus areas and targets and propose solutions
- Partner with other teams supporting the client in other engagement areas like Operations and Marketing to provide well-rounded solutions to the clients
- Engage with senior leadership to pitch ideas and solutions for potential clients
- 7+ years of experience in the US banking industry within Credit Risk department
- Needs to have worked with CXO level clients
- 3+ years in a leadership role
- Experience working with team members in different geographies, especially India
- Strong knowledge of different credit risk areas – strategy development, model development, model monitoring, collections and recoveries, reporting, etc.
- Good storyboarding and presentation skills

- Candidates with experience across multiple products including credit cards, personal loans, student loans, home loans, etc.
A reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role is $190,000 - $195,000 per year.
The disclosed pay range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. The compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case, such as skills and experience levels.
