Our client is actively seeking a talented Survey Drafter / Tech to work with a team located in Selma, TX. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity working primarily on-site (occasional hybrid potential once established) with tremendous growth potential and training to support your career goals.
Job Overview:
The Survey Tech position is responsible for primary survey calculations, inner-office project administration & coordination, preliminary QA/QC, and drafting standards related to the Commercial Land Surveying department.

A reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role is $50,000 - $70,000 per year.
The disclosed pay range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. The compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case, such as skills and experience levels.

Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Survey Drafter / Survey Technician. Successful Candidate will be responsible for conducting land surveys, drafting survey plans, managing survey data, and collaborating with project teams as well as ensuring accuracy and quality control of survey documents. Attention to detail, organization, and effective teamwork are crucial aspects of this role.
Qualifications
- 2-5 years of experience in land surveying and drafting
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or other survey drafting software including Carlson products
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills
- Ability to read and interpret land survey plats and legal descriptions
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines
