Our client is actively seeking a talented Civil Lead (EIT) to work with a team located in Benbrook, TX (Fort Worth area). This is a full-time, permanent opportunity with our client and will work On-Site in Benbrook. *Candidates MUST Reside in the greater DFW area.  This is NOT a remote position

Job Overview:

The civil lead will act as a coordinating figure, dealing with stakeholders across all areas of the project. They will interpret the needs, expectations, and limitations of each, and bring them together with the aim of successful project delivery.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Interpretation of the desired outcome into a detailed plan that can be implemented by a project team.
  • Planning and forecasting of the project.
  • Acquisition of appropriate staff, materials, and equipment.
  • Liaising with clients, regulators and internal/external company stakeholders.
  • Keeping the project on schedule.
  • Keeping the project on budget.
  • Staff management of the project team and/or project team leader.
  • Ongoing reporting of the project progress/attendance and participation in Project Manager meetings.
  • Ensuring that all aspects of the project proceed while adhering to internal company SOPs as well as external regulations and laws – this includes maintenance of project documentation.
  • Troubleshooting problems as they arise on a project – finding efficient and effective solutions.
  • Commissioning and qualification responsibilities.
  • Oversee all CAD standards to ensure the entire team is efficient.
  • Provide CAD training when needed.
  • Provide mentoring to less experienced staff.
  • Involvement in kick-off meetings.
  • Research in City/County standards and determine design criteria.
  • Obtaining as built drawings.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • 5-10 years of relevant experience
  • Excellent Interpersonal skills.
  • Supervisory skills (Designers, Drafters)
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
  • EIT

A reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role is $85,000 - $105,000 per year.

The disclosed pay range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.  The compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case, such as skills and experience levels.
