Type of Engagement: 11-month contract (Not open to 3rd party C2C consultants. Visa sponsorship is not available)
Work Location: Onsite position preferably located in Reston, VA (4 days per week) can be remote if they are not near Reston, VA.
They do not have to have the MBI on day one, but they will have to obtain one after joining (and will be sent instructions to do so). They must be a US Citizen
Job Overview:
Seeking an experienced and highly motivated Access Management Lead to drive the development and implementation of a unified, secure access strategy across the system. This individual will lead the design and rollout of identity and access control policies, ensure compliance with security requirements, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to enhance authentication and authorization frameworks. This is a highly collaborative role requiring technical expertise, strategic vision, and strong
communication skills.
Required Skills & Experience:
- At least 5 years of experience in identity and access management, security architecture, or related technical leadership roles.
- Proven experience designing and implementing access control strategies in complex IT environments.
- Deep knowledge of authentication and identity standards (SAML, OAuth, OIDC, PKI, etc.).
- Strong understanding of RBAC/ABAC policy design and enforcement practices.
- Familiarity with IAM tools and technologies such as Active Directory, Keycloak, or similar platforms.
- Experience coordinating across security, infrastructure, and application teams.
- Strong documentation and stakeholder communication skills.

A reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role is $75.00 - $80.00 per hour. The disclosed pay range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. The compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case, such as skills and experience levels.
