Our client is actively seeking a talented Accounting Manager. This position is hybrid, with in office hours 2-3 days a week in Raleigh, NC. This is a permanent position.
Job Overview:
As our client’s Accounting Manager, you’ll have the opportunity to use your leadership and management skills to oversee the daily operations of their Accounting Department; ensure their records, policies, and procedures are in line with generally accepted accounting principles; oversee the general ledger; implement process improvements; and build a highly engaged team.

A reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role is $115-$125K/year.
The disclosed pay range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. The compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case, such as skills and experience levels.

Job Responsibilities:
Leading department results and goals by:
- Directing the daily activities of the department
- Preparing, or overseeing preparation of, all financial, statistical, and accounting records
- Accomplishing annual planned projects
- Analyzing current business practices and identifying areas for improvement
- Assisting with the formulation and implementation of policies, objectives, and programs
- Identifying each of your team member’s talents and helping them do more of their best work
- Holding meaningful weekly check-ins with each team member to build relationship, trust, and provide the opportunity for coaching, feedback, and recognition
- Conducting performance pulses and milestone connect meetings regularly
- Building a culture that embodies company values
- Cross-training to ensure optimal coverage
- Assisting with the optimizing staff and processes
- Ensuring your staff has the knowledge and tools needed to perform well
- Ensuring staff is cross trained and capable of providing adequate service at all times
- Providing support for internal/external auditors
- Resolving audit and exam findings
- Ensuring the BCP preparedness of department
- At least three years of accounting experience that included general ledger responsibilities as well as the preparation of company financial, statistical and accounting records.
- Supervisory or management experience.
- Financial institution experience preferred.

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business, or comparable work experience in the accounting field.
