Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Analyst – Machinery Manufacturing to support a strategic SAP implementation project. This contract role is primarily focused on data collection, documentation, and process definition related to machine builds and manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical capability with hands-on understanding of manufacturing environments and the ability to translate complex machine structures and workflows into clear, structured documentation within SAP.
This role is best suited for someone who thrives on precision, enjoys working with cross-functional teams, and has experience documenting engineering or manufacturing processes—particularly in machinery or equipment build environments.

Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Collect, validate, and maintain accurate data related to machine builds, assemblies, and manufacturing processes.
- Document machine structures, including complex BOMs (Bills of Materials), subassemblies, and configuration relationships.
- Develop and maintain process flows and routings, ensuring alignment with operational requirements and SAP standards.
- Translate manufacturing and engineering inputs into structured SAP documentation for system configuration and data migration.
- Support data entry and cleansing activities to ensure high-quality master data within ERP systems (SAP).
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, leadership, and technical teams to gather requirements and ensure accurate documentation of processes.
- Assist in standardizing documentation practices related to machine builds and manufacturing workflows.
- Identify gaps or inconsistencies in data or process definitions and work with stakeholders to resolve them.
- Provide ongoing support to SAP project teams through structured data preparation and validation.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Strong attention to detail with proven experience in data collection, data entry, and documentation.
- Analytical background with the ability to understand and organize complex information.
- Experience working with ERP systems (SAP strongly preferred).
- Understanding of machine builds, assemblies, and manufacturing processes.
- Experience with process flows and routings, including the ability to document and create routings.
- Familiarity with complex BOM structures and manufacturing documentation.
- Ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders, including leadership, operations personnel, and technicians.
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment; exposure to machinery manufacturing is a plus.
- Highly documentation-driven with a strong focus on accuracy and structure
- Cross-functional interaction is required but the core deliverable is clear, complete, and actionable documentation
- Success in this role is defined by the quality and reliability of SAP-ready data and process definitions

- Prior involvement in SAP implementation or data migration projects.
