Job Title: Civil Engineering Project Manager
Type: Direct Hire
Work Location: Hybrid Position in Chattanooga, TN

Candidates must reside in the Greater Chattanooga, TN area.

Required Skills & Experience:
 
  • Experience in designing and developing site and roadway plans for permit and construction is a must.
  • Ability to take on project management responsibilities including directing and supervising the work of entry-level engineers and technicians.
  • Assess client project requirements, develop scope, schedules and cost estimates, to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and meeting client expectations.
  • Proficient knowledge of civil engineering software such as AutoCAD and Civil3D.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from an accredited four-year university with minimum 4 years of design and project management experience.
  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in the state of Tennessee.

The Civil Design Project Manager oversees and supports the design and development of site civil and roadway design projects for public and private clients. The ideal candidate will have experience in site grading, drainage, stormwater management, and utility design and can bring creative design practice and problem-solving skills balanced with a solid background in the field. Essential Job Responsibilities:
 
  • Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Oversee the design and technical aspects of civil engineering projects.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other professionals to produce innovative solutions.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
  • Implement quality control procedures to ensure project standards are met.
  • Lead and mentor project teams, fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.

A reasonable estimate of the Base Salary for this role is $110,000 - $125,000 per year. The disclosed pay range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.  The compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case, such as skills and experience levels.
