Our client is actively seeking a talented Cyber Security Analyst to work with a team in Greenville, SC. This is a 12-month hybrid contract assignment with the possibility of extension with our client.

A reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role is $45 - $47 hour.

Our client is actively seeking a talented Cyber Security Analyst to work with a team in Greenville, SC. This is a 12-month hybrid contract assignment with the possibility of extension with our client.
Description:
- The Cyber Security Support Analyst is responsible to ensure the zone meets all required cyber security objectives and initiatives.
- This role is part of our IT operational team that supports the manufacturing domain activities and is a functional leader of the cyber security team within our operational manufacturing and engineering domain.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for following and ensuring routine security patching and end point protection is completed monthly; this includes tracking site progress and escalating when needed
- Facilitate and manage urgent security vulnerabilities and communicate to senior management
- Monitor team Service Now queues and resolve incidents and requests for the AME zone
- Responsible for driving continuous improvement actions
- Responsible for creating and updating the various IT dashboards (excel and visual views)
- Participate in 24 x 7 on-call rotation with operational team (~ 4 weeks per year)
Qualifications:
- Operational IT work experience (4+ years) including focus and experience in cyber security
- IT Professional with IT BS degree preferred
- Cyber Security certifications (COMPTIA Security +, CISSP, etc.) preferred
- Ability to lead and facilitate the AME zone cyber security team
- Quality oriented with high attention to detail
- Experience with these tools or similar tools – WSUS, Active Directory, Kibana, OCS Inventory, Symantec, Microsoft Defender
- Knowledge of operating systems – Windows, Linux
- Ability to create visual dashboards in Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI
- Experience with Service Now
- Strong Problem Solving / Troubleshooting skills
- Ability to collaborate with various development and infrastructure teams including IT locally and globally, building strong working relationships with our clients site managers
- Ability to facilitate meetings including sending out meeting minutes and actions
- Ability to present to non-technical audiences
- Team player who can work autonomously and is self-motivated to deliver quality results in a timely manner
- Ability to ask good questions to ensure full understanding of business impact and urgency of major incidents
- Strong knowledge and experience with IT basic collaboration tools including MS M365 suite of applications
- Application development and infrastructure related experience a plus
