Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and adaptable D365 Business Central professional for a 3-6month contract. This individual will be a techno-functional consultant with a strong technical background, capable of performing hands-on development and configuration to meet our unique project needs. The primary focus of this role will be on the technical aspects of the project, including customizations and integrations, while collaborating closely with the functional lead to ensure the solution aligns with business requirements.

A reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role is $70.00 - $75.00 per hour. The disclosed pay range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. The compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case, such as skills and experience levels.

Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and adaptable D365 Business Central professional for a 3-6month contract. This individual will be a techno-functional consultant with a strong technical background, capable of performing hands-on development and configuration to meet our unique project needs. The primary focus of this role will be on the technical aspects of the project, including customizations and integrations, while collaborating closely with the functional lead to ensure the solution aligns with business requirements.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Customization and Development: Design and develop custom extensions, reports, and page modifications using AL language and Visual Studio Code.
- Integration: Build and troubleshoot integrations between Business Central and third-party systems using APIs and web services.
- Technical Troubleshooting and Testing: Diagnose and resolve technical issues within the BC environment, including performance and bug fixes, and ISV customizations.
- Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the functional lead to translate business requirements into technical specifications and viable solutions.
- Documentation: Create and maintain technical design documents and other relevant project documentation.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct technical testing to ensure the stability and reliability of developed solutions.
Required Skills & Experience:
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, including the extension model.
- Strong expertise in AL language
- Experience with developing and consuming APIs for integrations.
- Solid understanding of data migration principles and practices.
- Experience with version control systems, such as GitHub.
Big Bonus Points if you Have:
- Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Business Central Developer or related technical certifications.
- General knowledge of D365 Business Central's core financial, sales, and purchasing modules.
- Experience in manufacturing/distribution.
- Experience in Intercompany setups.
- Familiarity with the Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps).
- Proficiency with SQL Server and reporting tools like Power BI.
