Job Overview:
As a DevSecOps Engineer on our team, you are the backbone of our strategic initiatives and will be responsible for developing technology critical to the success of our projects as well as national security.
This position supports the development, hardening, deployment and ongoing maintenance of tools that enable military wargamers to simulate nuclear, chemical and biological events in wargame scenarios and training. Based out of Raleigh, NC this position is part of a multi-disciplinary collaborative team of software, cloud, and security engineers delivering the next generation of cloud and web enabled wargaming software.
As a valued team contributor your tasks will include updating and improving existing cloud infrastructure, performing continuous monitoring tasks of production environments, and working to improve developer experience through automation.

A reasonable estimate of the Base Salary for this role is $120,000 - $135,000 per year. The disclosed pay range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. The compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case, such as skills and experience levels.

Required Skills & Experience:

- U.S. Citizenship
- Active Secret Security Clearance
- Bachelor’s Degree in computer science along with 8-10 years of related experience OR 6-8 years of experience with a Master’s Degree
- 4+ years AWS cloud infrastructure experience
- 4+ years experience with Kubernetes & containers
- 4+ years experience with CI/CD systems (GitLab, GitHub, Atlassian, or similar)
- 2+ years experience with at least one object-oriented programming language (Python, Java, C++, JavaScript/TypeScript, Golang, or similar)
- You will be working closely with a collaborative team so your team player personality and excellent written/oral communication skills will be essential
- AWS Certification (any of Solutions Architect, Developer, SysOps, DevOps)
- CompTIA Security+ (or DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 equivalent)
