Job Title: IT Incident Process Analyst
Type of Engagement: 12-Month W2 Contract w/ possible to extend (Not open to 3rd party C2C consultants. Visa sponsorship is not available)
Work Location: Hybrid position located in Greenville, SC 29615


We are looking for an IT Incident Process Analyst to join our client’s P1 problem resolution & incident prevention team. This is a 12-Month extendable W2 Contract position. This person will work onsite 3 days a week in Greenville, South Carolina.

Essential Job Responsibilities:
  • Lead and coordinate the end-to-end management of P1 incidents, ensuring quick resolution and minimal business impact by serving as the liaison between tiered support teams and overseeing post-incident actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Provide timely, real-time updates to executive leadership and impacted stakeholders throughout the end-to-end lifecycle.
  • Ensure all incident records are thoroughly documented, accurate, and consistently updated within the ITSM system.
  • Drive post-incident reviews (PIRs) to identify root causes, lessons learned, and preventive measures.
  • Take ownership in Problem Management to ensure follow-up actions are tracked and resolved, ensuring recurring issues are permanently addressed and no longer happen.

Required Skills & Experience:
  • Over 5 years of experience in IT Service Management and Incident Management within large enterprise environments.
  • Deep understanding of ITIL principles, with hands-on experience in Incident, Problem, and Change Management processes.
  • Solid grasp of enterprise Infrastructure, Networking, and Data Center operations.
  • Skilled in building and managing a backlog of improvement initiatives, effectively prioritizing by effort, timing, and impact.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborates closely with users and incident resolution teams to develop and execute plans that prevent recurrence.
  • Experienced in driving Change Management processes, including risk assessment, approval coordination, and ensuring smooth implementations with minimal disruption.
  • Demonstrated success managing high-pressure, multi-stakeholder situations with composure and clarity.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with strong facilitation capabilities.
  • Brings strong interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving abilities with an emphasis on collaboration and accountability.

Big Bonus Points if you Have:
  • IT Project Management experience
  • Familiarity with CAB (Change Advisory Board) procedures and post-change validation is a plus.
  • Experience with ServiceNow or another ITSM Tool (Remedy or equivalent)
  • Lean or Agile experience, for backlog management, sprints and retrospectives.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field

A reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role is $40.00 - $48.00 per hour. The disclosed pay range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.  The compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case, such as skills and experience levels.
