Job Overview:
We are seeking a Software QA Lead to help build a robust, end-to-end testing strategy for a new healthcare data analytics platform focused on claims data analysis. This is a unique opportunity to shape the quality assurance process from the ground up and play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and performance of a data-driven product.
The ideal candidate will bring 7–10 years of experience in software quality assurance, with a strong background in data quality standards, UAT, quality testing, and SQL/data analysis. This role also includes mentoring junior QA team members, helping to elevate the overall quality and consistency of testing practices across the team.

A reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role is $60.00 - $65.00 per hour. The disclosed pay range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Design and implement an end-to-end testing strategy for a healthcare data analytics platform.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive test cases, test plans, and SQL queries to validate data accuracy and system functionality.
- Establish and enforce data quality standards and best practices.
- Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) efforts and coordinate with business stakeholders.
- Perform data analysis to identify inconsistencies, anomalies, and areas for improvement.
- Mentor and guide junior QA team members, providing technical leadership and support.
- Document testing processes and results, and provide actionable insights to development and product teams.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 7–10 years of experience in software QA, with a focus on data-centric environments.
- Strong understanding of data quality, UAT, and software testing methodologies.
- Proven experience directly leading junior test analysts and other QA staff.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience working with large datasets.
- Familiarity with healthcare claims data or similar regulated data environments is a plus.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Must reside in the Eastern or Central Time Zone.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
Big Bonus Points if you Have:
- Experience with data analytics platforms or data warehousing.
- Knowledge of ETL processes, data validation, and reporting tools.
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies
