Our client is actively seeking a talented  IT Infrastructure Operations Improvement Analyst, located in Greenville, SC. This is a 12-month contract opportunity.

This position is a hybrid opportunity for 2 days in the office

Overview:
  • The mission of this job is to define and lead continuous improvements that improve our overall end to end operational performance for key business services.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Drive engagement, investigation, and resolution on operational Problem management topics
  • Analyze data to understand customer issues, identify opportunities, anticipate risks, and create prioritized backlog items and solutions for impacted services
  • Contribute to and / or lead the resolution of ongoing high-priority production issues
  • Use statistical tools and techniques to identify process gaps, root cause issues, and drive data driven decision making
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze and evaluate business impacts, develop best practice plans, and communicate final recommendations to prevent recurrence of high-priority Incidents
  • Provide expertise in technical troubleshooting on transverse topics
  • Contribute to the success of production releases and deployments
  • Lead the full lifecycle of measurement initiatives from idea to implementation
  • Create and maintain reports and data models by leveraging data across complex hierarchies using multiple data sources
  • Define and report key metrics, track actual progress toward forecasts, and create meaningful monthly operational reports
  • Write and review technical documents, including design, development, and revision of documents
  • Review and approve Changes, participate and / or facilitate weekly CAB (Change Advisory Board) meetings
  • Rotate MIM (major incident management) on call with the team ~ 5 weeks per year

Requirements:
  • Infrastructure knowledge of Cloud, Networks, Load Balancers, Servers, Firewalls
  • Experience with ServiceNow IT Service Management (ITSM)
  • ITIL certification a plus
  • Self-starter with a knack for debugging complex issues
  • Advanced understanding of data sources & relationships, reporting tools and systems knowledge, including experience in measuring and managing data quality
  • Extraordinary problem-solving abilities, strong attention to detail, and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong statistical and data analytics skills
  • Organizational skills and the ability to multi-task are essential
  • Ability to translate technical content for non-technical audiences
  • Excellent communicator, able to present in weekly meetings with large multi-functional teams and executives
  • Operational mindset and a team player

A reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role is $45.00 - $50.00 per hour.

The disclosed pay range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.  The compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case, such as skills and experience levels.
