Work Location: Hybrid position located in Baton Rouge, LA
Candidates must reside in the Baton Rouge, LA area.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 2+ years managing IT Support and/or Help Desk
- Proven experience with ticketing/support systems.
- Experience troubleshooting network and connectivity issues.
- Knowledge of computer hardware and software (Windows)
- Able to provide references from past employers and/or projects
- Proven problem solving, communication, technical, and analytical skills
- 18 years or older and legally able to work in the U.S.
- Pass a drug screen, physical, and background check
- Speak fluent English
Big Bonus Points if you Have:
- Previous military experience and proven ability to follow procedures.
- 3+ years of experience in IT support or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware and software, including Windows and MacOS.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with Active Directory and Microsoft Office 365.
- ITSM related certifications (ITIL v3 Foundation, HDI Support Manager) §
- CompTIA Security +
Job Overview:
This is your opportunity to be a part of a growing IT department working closely with those in Applications and Client Services! You will be responsible for providing technical support to our employees, both remotely and onsite. You will ensure that our teams have the necessary technology resources and access required to perform their jobs effectively.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to employees, both remotely and onsite
- Proactively identify and resolve potential IT issues to minimize downtime and improve user experience.
- Set up and maintain computers and mobile devices, using technology to automate deployment and updates with minimal downtime
- Respond to and resolve support tickets in a timely manner, address alerts and escalations, and work with users, other IT teams, and vendors to develop strategic solutions to recurring problems.
- Set up and maintain employee accounts and access permissions.
- Configure and troubleshoot printers, scanners, and other peripherals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address complex IT issues.
- Document technical procedures and create knowledge base articles for the support team.
- Maintain inventory of hardware and software assets.
- Manage security technologies such as multi-factor authentication, VPN, endpoint security, and SIEM solutions.
- Provide Video Teleconferencing support; troubleshoot problems and issues with the service and perform corrective actions.
- Train users to operate new systems and equipment successfully.
- Remediate computer vulnerabilities via monthly/weekly patching.
- Participate in 24/7 On-Call Rotation

A reasonable estimate of the Base Salary for this role is $68,000 - $90,000 per year. The disclosed pay range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. The compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case, such as skills and experience levels.
