Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead the surveying team, including hiring, training, and performance management.
- Plan, schedule, and oversee field and office survey operations to meet project deadlines.
- Ensure the accuracy and quality of survey data for engineering, construction, and land development projects.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to understand survey requirements and deliverables.
- Utilize advanced surveying equipment and software (e.g., GPS, total stations, AutoCAD Civil 3D) for data collection and analysis.
- Prepare and review survey reports, maps, plats, and other documentation.
- Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to land surveying.
- Develop and implement efficient survey processes and workflows.
- Monitor and manage survey budgets, ensuring cost-effective operations.
- Stay updated on industry trends, tools, and technologies to enhance survey capabilities.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
- CO Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in land surveying, including leadership or management roles.
- Proficiency in surveying software (e.g., AutoCAD Civil 3D, Trimble Business Center) and equipment.
- Strong understanding of legal descriptions, boundary law, and topographic surveys.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
- Commitment to safety and quality assurance.

A reasonable estimate of the Base Salary for this role is $125,000 - $160,000 per year. The disclosed pay range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. The compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case, such as skills and experience levels.
