Our client is actively seeking a talented Land Survey PM / PLS located in Lisle, IL. This is a fulltime permanent opportunity with our client working a hybrid/remote schedule.
Job Overview:
A Land Survey Project Manager is an associate who has the responsibility to develop their technical and interpersonal skills related to field and office surveying methods, practices, legalities and calculations. An ideal candidate must have a strong background in AutoCAD Civil 3D, experience with Trimble equipment and TBC, be detailed oriented, and enjoys a varied workload including both office and field.
Job Responsibilities:
- Proficient with AutoCAD Civil 3D software and how to draft survey plats, topographic surveys, Alta's, boundaries and construction drawings/calculations
- AutoCAD Civil 3D experience with parcels, label styles, surfaces and plat drafting.
- Mentoring surveying staff, engineers and field crews
- Understands overall project flow and requirements, from due diligence to completion of construction
- Research municipal codes and ordinances with an understanding on the site development requirements and constraints; apply the requirements to prepare a dimensionally accurate and engineered site plan
- Ability to read and understand engineering plan sets and architectural/structural drawings
- Engaging with clients and consultants throughout project lifecycle
- Understands surveying for all aspects of site development

- Construction drawings/calculations in Civil 3D
- Preparing field packets and providing direction to the field crews
- Project administration and budget tracking
- Trimble Business Center (TBC)
- Civil 3D & Civil 3D Express Tools
- Vehicle Tracking
- Bachelor of Science from an accredited university
- Professional Land Surveyor Certification (PLS) Preferred
- Minimum of 8 years of previous survey experience
- AutoCAD Civil 3D experience with parcels, label styles, surfaces and plat drafting
- Full project lifecycle experience
- Valid driver's license
- Focused, motivated, and results oriented
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Trimble Business Center (TBC) preferred
- Remote Pilot Certificate (FAA Part 107 license/certificate) is preferred

A reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role is $115,000 - $130,000 per year.
The disclosed pay range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. The compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case, such as skills and experience levels.
