Our client is actively seeking a talented Mainframe System Programmer to work fully remote. This is an 8-month contract opportunity with the possibility for extension or to go permanent with our client.
Job Overview:
We are looking for a Mainframe System Programmer. This is a full-time position to support upgrades to zOS v2.4 plus ISV upgrades. They use JES3 and BMC products for system performance monitoring / automation, and Control-M for scheduling. They are open to remote working but must be willing to work eastern time zone hours 8am to 5pm, and flexible to on-call support.

- System maintenance and support of LPAR daily needs
- Monitoring and upgrading systems
Requirements:

- zOS experience
Preferred Qualifications:

- JES3 and Control-M or other monitoring capacity scheduling program experience (preferred)

A reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role is $75.75 - $80.75 per hour.
The disclosed pay range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. The compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case, such as skills and experience levels.
