Our client is actively seeking a talented Marketing Manager V. This is a 4-month contract opportunity with the possibility to extend with our client.
This position is a remote opportunity, preferably CST/EST Time zone.
Overview:
The main function of a marketing manager is to drive marketing campaigns aligned to local marketing plans that drive customer demand. Creates emotionally connecting experiences for industry audience. Leads end-to-end execution of Microsoft (and 3rd party) events and experiences, in alignment with the overall marketing strategy. Drive alignment and integration across teams and the sale organization.
Job Responsibilities:
Marketing Strategy
A reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role is $52.19 - $57.19 per hour.
The disclosed pay range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. The compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case, such as skills and experience levels.

Job Responsibilities:
Marketing Strategy
- Aligns events and experience programs to industry strategy and and leads production/workback schedules.
- Ensures events adhere to branding, content, and timing standards in order to create a consistent Microsoft experience.
- Sets plans and strategies for marketing campaigns, programs and promotions by collaborating with internal teams
- Lead development and curation of content and customer journeys designed to engage customers.
- Manages execution planning and supports end-to-end execution.
- Manages ongoing communication and relationships with core internal and/or cross-functional marketing teams and third-party events management
- Acts as a project manager across teams to coordinate the development of messaging and overall Microsoft presence.
- Coordinates and works with vendor resources to ensure event preparation and execution run efficiently.
- Creates event plans, creative marketing, and experience wire frames to support defined business objectives
- Ensure seamless event process flow and marketing execution landing virtual by staying connect to the team at the event.
- Contributes presentation decks for outlining plans and solicits feedback from key stakeholders. Considers risk plans and potential mitigation and builds into processes.
- Determines resources that are needed for in-person and/or online events to run seamlessly (e.g., physical event set up, catering, online/embedded content) and delegates responsibilities accordingly.
- Ensures event execution stays within budget or escalates as necessary if issues related to the budget arise.
- Develops detailed project management plan to drive delivery for projects or supports senior colleagues in projects of high complexity,
- Leveraging existing materials to drive scope and resources.
- Develops and executes communication plans to share progress, blockers, and learnings across stakeholders.
- Sets milestones and integrated workback schedules to drive progress.
- Bachelor's degree in marketing or equivalent training.
- 10+ years of related experience.
- 8-10 years of experience in Project Management.
- 8-10 years of experience with Data Management and Analysis.
- 8-10 years of experience with Budget Management.
- Verbal and written communication skills, negotiation skills, customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage one’s time.
- Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services.
- Knowledge of media production, communication and dissemination techniques and methods.
