Are you an experienced Professional Licensed Surveyor? If so, let’s talk!
Our client is actively seeking a talented Professional Licensed Surveyor to work with a team located in Loveland, CO. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity working a Hybrid or Remote work schedule.

Job Overview:

The successful candidate must have a minimum of five (5) years as a licensed professional.  The Professional Land Surveyor will be responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, quality assurance/quality control and completion of survey projects.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Assesses requirements of surveys to be undertaken, including the type of survey, the level of accuracy, field procedures to ensure accurate survey results, and the physical extent of the survey to determine survey equipment needed and number and level of staff to be assigned.
  • Serves as subject matter expert for survey related activities such as construction staking, topographic surveying, platting, legal description writing, boundary analysis, and legal principles.
  • Works with the Project Manager to define project tasks, schedule and resource requirements.
  • Works with Project Manager to evaluate project budget and analyzes project profitability, revenue, margins, billing rates and utilization.
  • Complies with and helps the enforcement of company standards, policies and procedures.
  • Prepare and oversee the preparation of survey documents and computations associated with boundary surveys, ALTA surveys, topographical surveys, etc
  • Verify the accuracy of survey data, including measurements and calculations conducted at survey sites.
  • Prepare and maintain sketches, maps, reports, and legal descriptions of surveys to describe, certify, and assume liability for work performed.
  • Write descriptions of property boundary surveys for use in deeds, leases, or other legal documents.
  • Search legal records, survey records, and land titles to obtain information about property boundaries in areas to be surveyed.
  • Coordinate findings with the work of engineering and architectural personnel, clients, and others concerned with projects.
  • contractors. Verifies that measurements meet quality assurance standards and are within acceptable limits.
  • Ensure that all the proper safety precautions are being taken on the survey site.
Requirements:
  • 5-10+ years of progressive experience as a licensed professional.
  • Multi-State Licensure Highly desired and would be open to REMOTE work.
  • Experience in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
  • Experience in the use of Trimble Business Center for processing, computing, and review of survey field data.
  • Proficiency using survey equipment, software, and technology.
  • Familiarity with writing legal descriptions, interpreting deeds, and analyzing boundaries.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple assignments, priorities, and projects in a demanding environment.
  • Strong time and project management skills, including prioritization and project switching ability.
  • Must have multi-discipline experience, and a strong understanding of commercial, residential, pipeline and renewables projects.
  • Effective verbal communication is necessary and independent judgment is essential.
  • Proven leadership and supervisory skills.
  • Candidate must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
  • Ability to pass mandatory drug screening.

A reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role is $110,000 - $150,000 per year.

The disclosed pay range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.  The compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case, such as skills and experience levels.
