Type: Permanent, Full-time – W2 Only (Not open to C2C. Visa Sponsorship is not available)
Work Location: Remote - in the US (CST / EST / MST time zones preferred). Must be okay working Central time zone hours (our client is in Austin, TX)
We are looking for a Configuration Systems Analyst skilled in the Oracle Insurance Policy Administration (OIPA) system. In this role, you will join a growing Agile team responsible for supporting product implementations, system feature enhancements and defect resolution of our client's OIPA system.
This fully remote permanent, full-time position is with our valued Austin-based client, a company that's been in business for 7 decades. Though this is 100% remote, it's highly preferred for this person to be located in the Central, Eastern, or Mountain time zones. This fantastic opportunity comes with a base salary, a bonus, full benefits, 401k, and PTO.
What you will do:
You will use your skills & experience to analyze, design, configure, test, and implement enhancements & changes to our client’s enterprise-level Oracle Insurance Policy Administration (OIPA) platform. Provide analysis of user requirements and procedures in order to deliver automation & enhancements. Employ data analysis technologies as well as SQL to create system designs, configurations, and testing initiatives. Communicate frequently with internal teams to ensure project deadlines are met.

Pay:
A reasonable expectation of the Base Salary range for this role is $75,000 to $125,000 per year – based on experience & skill level. The disclosed pay range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. The compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case, such as skills and experience levels.

- Analyze and solve problems in the OIPA system. Ensure the system meets the needs of the organization.
- Analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate processes and improve the existing system.
- Analyze, document, and present plans for system updates to implement new additions, changes, & enhancements to the system and business processes.
- Implement the changes to approved solutions within OIPA.
- Perform system defect remediation as needed.
- Work with business analysts and business partners to identify solutions to business needs within the OIPA system.
- Provide 3rd level operational support for the OIPA system.
What you need to have:
- 2+ years of experience working on enterprise level business systems.
- Systems analysis skills and experience – analysis, systems design, configuration, & implementation.
- Oracle Insurance Policy Administration (OIPA) knowledge/experience.
- Must have hands on experience configuring & implementing OIPA systems.
- Working knowledge of SQL and SQL queries.
- Basic skills and understanding of Excel, XML, JSON, Delimited Files, etc.
- General understanding of software development and scripting languages.
- Knowledge of SDLC and Agile processes and frameworks.
- Strong communication (both oral and written) & collaboration skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to identify problems.
