Our client is actively seeking a talented Oracle HCM Tester. This position is 100% remote.  This is a long term contract opportunity with our client.


Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Oracle HCM Testing Specialist to join our team. As an Oracle HCM Testing Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our Oracle HCM system. You will be responsible for conducting end-to-end manual testing, vendor integration testing, Oracle HCM reports testing, and validating the functionality of various Oracle HCM modules. Additionally, you will work with tools such as HCM Data Loader, HCM Extract, Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), Business Intelligence Publisher (BIP), Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI), and SQL.


Job Responsibilities:
 

  • Perform end-to-end manual testing of Oracle HCM modules, ensuring that all functionalities meet the specified requirements.
  • Conduct vendor integration testing to validate the seamless integration of third-party applications with Oracle HCM.
  • Develop and execute test cases, test plans, and test scripts to ensure thorough test coverage.
  • Validate the accuracy and integrity of data loaded into Oracle HCM using HCM Data Loader.
  • Test and validate the functionality and accuracy of Oracle HCM reports, ensuring they meet the reporting requirements.
  • Utilize Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) to integrate Oracle HCM with other systems and conduct integration testing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into comprehensive test scenarios.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot issues identified during testing, working closely with developers and business stakeholders to resolve them.
  • Use Business Intelligence Publisher (BIP) and Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI) to create and validate complex reports and analytics.
  • Utilize SQL queries to extract data, perform data validation, and support testing efforts.
  • Stay updated with the latest Oracle HCM releases, features, and updates, and apply them to testing practices.


Requirements:
 
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in end-to-end manual testing of Oracle HCM modules.
  • Proven experience in vendor integration testing, ensuring seamless integration with third-party applications.
  • Strong expertise in testing Oracle HCM reports and validating their accuracy and compliance with reporting requirements.
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle HCM tools such as HCM Data Loader, HCM Extract, OIC, BIP, or OTBI.
  • Proficient in writing and executing SQL queries for data extraction, validation, and testing purposes.
  • Familiarity with agile testing methodologies and the ability to work in an Agile/Scrum environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team.


Preferred Qualifications:
 
  • Oracle HCM certification(s) would be a plus.

A reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role is $52.00 - $57.00 per hour.

The disclosed pay range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.  The compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case, such as skills and experience levels.
