Type of Engagement: 12-month contract (Not open to 3rd party C2C consultants. Visa sponsorship is not available)
Work Location: Onsite in Charlotte, NC

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Power Platform Canvas App Contract Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing and deploying Canvas Apps using Microsoft Power Platform. This role involves working closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements, design solutions, and implement high-quality applications that enhance business processes and drive efficiency.

Essential Job Responsibilities:
 
  • Application Development: Design, develop, and deploy Canvas Apps using Microsoft Power Platform to meet business requirements.
  • Requirement Analysis: Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, translating them into technical specifications.
  • Integration: Integrate Canvas Apps with other Microsoft services and third-party applications as needed.
  • Customization: Customize and extend the capabilities of Canvas Apps using Power Automate, Power BI, and other Power Platform tools.
  • Testing and Debugging: Conduct thorough testing and debugging of applications to ensure functionality, performance, and security.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for developed applications, including design specifications, user guides, and technical manuals.
  • Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users, ensuring they can effectively use the developed applications.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in Power Platform development and continuously improve existing applications.

Required Skills & Experience:
 
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in developing applications using Microsoft Power Platform, with a focus on Canvas Apps.
Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
  • Strong understanding of data modeling and database design.
  • Experience with integrating Power Platform solutions with other Microsoft services (e.g., SharePoint, Dynamics 365) and third-party applications.
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript, and C#.
  • Familiarity with Azure services and cloud computing concepts.
Soft Skills:
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions.

Big Bonus Points if you Have:
 
  • Microsoft Power Platform certifications.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Knowledge of UI/UX design principles.

A reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role is $60.00 - $65.00 per hour. The disclosed pay range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.  The compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case, such as skills and experience levels.
