We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Power Platform Canvas App Contract Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing and deploying Canvas Apps using Microsoft Power Platform. This role involves working closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements, design solutions, and implement high-quality applications that enhance business processes and drive efficiency.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Application Development: Design, develop, and deploy Canvas Apps using Microsoft Power Platform to meet business requirements.
- Requirement Analysis: Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, translating them into technical specifications.
- Integration: Integrate Canvas Apps with other Microsoft services and third-party applications as needed.
- Customization: Customize and extend the capabilities of Canvas Apps using Power Automate, Power BI, and other Power Platform tools.
- Testing and Debugging: Conduct thorough testing and debugging of applications to ensure functionality, performance, and security.
- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for developed applications, including design specifications, user guides, and technical manuals.
- Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users, ensuring they can effectively use the developed applications.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in Power Platform development and continuously improve existing applications.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in developing applications using Microsoft Power Platform, with a focus on Canvas Apps.
- Proficiency in Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
- Strong understanding of data modeling and database design.
- Experience with integrating Power Platform solutions with other Microsoft services (e.g., SharePoint, Dynamics 365) and third-party applications.
- Knowledge of programming languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript, and C#.
- Familiarity with Azure services and cloud computing concepts.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions.
Big Bonus Points if you Have:
- Microsoft Power Platform certifications.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Knowledge of UI/UX design principles.
