Our client is actively seeking a talented Product Manager - Water Solutions to work with a team located in Cary, NC. This is a full-time opportunity with our client.

Job Overview:

Our Client is currently hiring a Product Manager focused on providing industry-leading solutions that maximize utility benefits, support water conservation initiatives, and provide end customer benefits.  As a Product Manager for Smart Water, your primary responsibility is to oversee the development and management of smart water products and solutions. Lead Client’s market strategy and solution definition globally for Smart Water.  Maintain product and solutions through the product life cycle.

Job Responsibilities:
 
  • Develop and execute the product roadmap for smart water solutions, aligning with the company’s strategic goals and customer needs.
  • Conduct market research and gather insights to understand customer requirements, industry trends, and the competitive landscape in the smart water industry.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, designers, and sales, to define product requirements, features, and specifications.
  • Prioritize and manage product backlog, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products that meet customer expectations.
  • You will be responsible for the end-to-end cycle of the water meter project.
  • Work closely with engineering teams during product development, providing guidance, clarifying requirements, and resolving issues.
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and effectiveness of smart water products.
  • Monitor market trends and technological advancements in the smart water industry, identifying opportunities for product enhancements or new product development.
  • Conduct user testing, gather feedback, and iterate on product features to improve user experience and drive product adoption.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop product positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies.
  • Support sales and business development efforts by providing product expertise, conducting product demonstrations, and participating in customer meetings.

Requirements:
 
  • BS in Engineering or equivalent experience, MBA is a plus
  • 8+ years of experience in Smart Water or Water Metering
  • Engineering background preferred
  • Excellent written and communication skills
  • Experience with wireless networks and customer interfaces a plus
  • Ability to present ideas and drive corporate strategy
  • Highly self-motivated, self-directed, and attentive to detail
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
  • Experience working with remote teams

A reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role is $120,000 - $125,000 per year.

The disclosed pay range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.  The compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case, such as skills and experience levels.
