Type: Full-time, permanent (not open to 3rd party candidates)
Location: Remote but person needs to be in Georgia or a surrounding state to able to meet with team in-person once or twice a month

What we are looking for exactly:
  • 2 to 5 years of experience as a Product Manager at a B2B SaaS company.
  • Experience with data-driven, data intensive Analytics SaaS products (ideally Risk Analytics products).
  • Experience with delivering successful software products including the full product development life cycle: planning, requirements, development, release, go-to-market.
  • Experience working with Data Science & Engineering teams.
  • Understands AI-based solutions.
  • A team player that is self-directed.

Job Summary:
We are looking for a Product Manager for our Atlanta-based financial SaaS client who makes cutting-edge AI based financial risk analytics solutions. Their products use machine learning, predictive modeling, and advanced data analytics to detect and reduce financial risks.

As a Product Manager, you will spearhead the full product lifecycle for your product line(s), from design to delivery, with a focus on optimizing user interaction. You will collaborate with engineering and data science to assess current products and innovate to improve the customer experience. Your work will involve cross-team collaboration to build and launch products and features that align with our client's strategic goals and roadmap.

Success in this role requires a strong grasp of data and digital workflows and the ability to translate them into effective UIs. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical acumen, business understanding, product design skills, and the ability to prioritize effectively and communicate clearly to influence and collaborate with internal teams.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the complete product experience for your product line, encompassing user-facing analytics, workflow tools, and BI dashboards, while championing customer needs to deliver a top-tier user experience.
  • Shape the product roadmap to provide a market-leading solution for customers.
  • Drive daily product operations: engage with customers, perform user research, outline use cases, facilitate requirements workshops, manage and prioritize enhancement requests, and orchestrate product releases.
  • Develop business requirements and functional specifications, collaborating with engineering, UX, and data science teams across the product development lifecycle.
  • Monitor enhancement requests and partner with engineering to prioritize the product backlog for sprint planning in Jira.
  • Identify product improvements by understanding the needs of users and buyers.
  • Assess competing and complementary products, technologies, and solutions to sustain a competitive product edge.
  • Contribute to product launch strategies, support go-to-market efforts, and work with marketing and sales teams to ensure successful sales outcomes.
  • Serve as a product advocate to foster company-wide awareness and deliver product demonstrations as required.

Required qualifications:
  • 2 to 5 years of experience as a Product Manager, building and managing data-driven, analytics B2B SaaS software products for end-users.
  • Experience with delivering successful software products including the full product development life cycle: planning, requirements, development, release, go-to-market.
  • Capability to guide and work with cross-functional teams to shape product strategy.
  • Skill in prioritizing feature development through qualitative and quantitative insights.
  • Proficiency in articulating complex product features and their benefits to customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Competence in showcasing product functionality and representing the product team across the organization.
  • Experience with Agile, Scrum and Jira or related tracking tools
  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, Math, Finance, Business, Economics 

Preferred qualifications:
 
  • MBA or graduate studies in data analytics, risk management, finance, or accounting.
  • Familiarity with financial business processes (i.e., Accounts Payable, Expense Management, Accounts Receivable, Order-to-Cash, Procurement, General Ledger.
  • Good understanding of software UI/UX best practices. 
  • Background in releasing & launching products & features powered by AI/ML.
  • Expertise in discovering new product ideas and features through in-depth market and user research.
  • Proven history of collaborating with data engineering and data science teams. 
  • Familiarity with building workflow applications and BI dashboards.
  • Experience creating products centered on risk management.

Pay:
The Comp consists of a Salary ranging from $120,000 to $135,000 per year plus 10% Bonus. The disclosed pay range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.  The compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case, such as skills and experience levels.
