A reasonable estimate of the Base Salary for this role is $120,000 - $150,000 per year. The disclosed pay range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. The compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case, such as skills and experience levels.

Job Overview:

Required Skills & Experience:
- REQUIRES PLS (Professional Land Surveyor) Licensure
- 2 or more years of post-licensure experience.
- 7-10 years of experience in the geomatics profession working on Civil Land Development project for Commercial, Residential, Construction & Utilities projects.
- Proficient with MS Word, Excel, and CAD.
- An excellent grasp of the Geomatics fields along with leadership, team building and communication abilities.
- Ability to exercise good judgment in handling and solving complex technical and people assignments in line with the company’s five core values.
- A valid driver's license and an acceptable motor vehicle record.
- Maryland PLS license
- Civil 3D and/or MicroStation experience
Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Manage projects. This includes developing the project scope of work, schedule, and fee; balancing workload and resources; supporting business development efforts; leading the preparation of proposals; and supporting new business.
- Be a subject matter expert in the standard practices for land surveying, providing technical, design and project management services to lead and supervise the team on a variety of project size and complexities.
- Engage in professional organizations, professional development and the mentorship of direct reports. Develop and maintain a network of relationships within the industry.
