Job Description
Our client is actively seeking a talented Project Control Supervisor located in Houston, TX. This is a 1-year contract opportunity with the possibility for extension.
Job Overview:
The Project Control Supervisor will coordinate projects reporting for the department in
collaboration with PMTs and support contract procurement activities in conformance with Saudi Aramco Contracting Policies and Procedures to meet the objectives of specified contract execution team.
Responsibilities:
- Performs all supervisory functions common to the Unit level as established by Company Management.
- Provide support and consultation on bid slates development.
- Provide post-award contract SME support related to change orders, amendments, claims, and contract termination.
- Maintain dispute resolution / claim status log and assist in claims analysis.
- Maintains close liaison and communications with Execution PMTs to ensure effective and timely resolution of contract issues. Identifies problems and takes effective action in liaison with execution PMTs to protect Saudi Aramco's position.
- Resolves issues raised in internal Aramco review meetings on complex and sensitive contracts.
- Performs other miscellaneous duties as directed by the Project Controls Manager.
Risk Management Group 10%
- Monitor Projects Risk Register.
Contracts Support Group 30%
- Be the Department Reference on Contracting Matters, providing the necessary support when required. Liaison with PMOD/ PESD, Contracting, CR&CCD and LAW on matters related to Contracts issues.
- Provide support and consultation on bid slates development.
- Provide post-award contract SME support related to change orders, amendments, claims, and contract termination.
- Maintain dispute resolution / claim status log and assist in claims analysis.
- Provide SME leadership on all dispute / claim related matters.
- Establish and monitor common Internal Administration Procedures (IAP) required SFC /MFCs.
Projects Reporting Group 50%
- Provide and Coordinate PM Project Controls Training to PMT members at the beginning of each Project Phase.
- Establish Contract Compliance Matrix template for required deliverables and ensure the utilization of the template by PMT‘s.
- Monitor contracts Status for Controls and compliance.
- Review Final Release Agreements.
- Coordinate BI & Project Reporting Services and Prepare KPI, indices and other metric calculations.
- Review project closeout reports prepared by PMT as per SAEP-329 and ensure submission to PMOD.
- Actively participate in the development and dissemination of lessons learned. Collect and document per SAEP-329
- Interface with PMOD.
Enterprise Project Management(EPM) Group 10%
- Validate effectiveness of Projects Document Control Activity.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Law or Business
- 10 years’ experience in contract procurement activities or closely related area (contracts engineer, project management engineer or an attorney).
- Excellent command of oral and written English. Arabic is highly desirable.
- Must have a thorough knowledge of Saudi Aramco Contracting & Procurement Policies and Procedures.

A reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role is $71.00 - $76.00 per hour.
The disclosed pay range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. The compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case, such as skills and experience levels.
