Job Description

Job Title: Project Manager – IT Services
Type of Engagement: 9+-month contract (Not open to 3rd party C2C consultants. Visa sponsorship is not available)
Work Location: Hybrid opportunity located in Wilmington, DE

Candidates must reside in the Wilmington, DE area.

Required Skills & Experience:
  • Analytical skills: Strong data reporting and analysis skills and ability to interpret metrics (i.e., storytelling) for informed decision making.
  • Expert with Excel, PowerBi and other reporting tools.
  • Experienced in utilizing Service Now ticketing platform for efficient and effective tracking, management, and resolution of technical incidents and service requests.
  • Highly detail-oriented skilled at collecting and analyzing data from multiple sites and programs, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of information for sound decision-making.
  • Communication abilities: Responsible for communicating with cross-functional teams and internal stakeholders through both verbal and written communication.
  • Problem-solving capabilities: Must demonstrate creative thinking with excellent problem-solving & creative solutioning abilities. Conduct Root Cause Analysis on project issues and develop actionable recommendations to mitigate future risks.
  • Leadership skills: Must exhibit strong leadership skills to lead the team by influence in order to meet their team goals and objectives.
  • Insistent on driving problems to closure and solution focused.
  • Have a proven track record of being a strong problem solver, providing effective solutions for team members who may have limited time, thus helping the team to remain productive and efficient.
  • A bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in a field related to technology, such as computer science, software engineering, IT, cybersecurity, or management information systems.
  • Knowledge of business processes and service delivery with strong understanding of the integration of business and technology in a manufacturing environment.  Understanding of IT architecture and systems a plus.
  • Strong customer orientation and demonstrated ability to work with people at all levels in an organization.
  • A minimum of 6+ years project management experience.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to describe technical issues in end-user understandable terms.
  • Demonstrated experience with leading by influence and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.

Essential Job Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical oversight of projects & initiatives by evaluating the design, architecture, integration, and implementation to ensure that the technological components meet the project goals. Work closely with project team/s to improve the way projects are planned and executed.
  • Act as the bridge between project team/s and stakeholders by translating complex, technical configurations into business solutions. Communicate input from stakeholders to project leaders related to performance issues/concerns and working with the project team/s to quickly remediate any pre or post-execution issues.
  • Provide risk management by anticipating technical impediments and roadblocks for each project/initiative by evaluating the opportunity for potential gaps and devising strategies to address them.
  • Lead continuous improvement discussions by analyzing data and providing insight to strengthen team performance. The Technical PM is skilled at conducting retrospectives and can pinpoint areas of improvement and lead the implementation of changes to optimize during each project phase.
  • Technical PM will support the training and development of team members as it relates to implementing new technologies in the environment. They will work with project teams to ensure that there is sufficient training and education on the new/modified technologies, including sharing best practices, supporting the development of documentation, training videos, facilitating virtual & one-on-one training, etc.

A reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role is $55.00 - $60.00 per hour. The disclosed pay range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.  The compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case, such as skills and experience levels.
