Type: Direct hire, Permanent – W2 Only 
Work Location:  Remote but must be in Georgia (could have occasional all hands on deck meeting in the office)

We are on the hunt for a Project Manager, experienced in managing technical software product development & SaaS projects, for a remote permanent, direct hire opening with our Atlanta-based client. Even though this is fully remote, the person must be in Georgia, in case there are is an all-hands-on-deck meeting in the office (won't be often).

In this role, you will be working for our client's Technical Program Management team in the software development and SaaS Operations group.  The primary responsibility for this person will be to provide cross team project management & coordination with different groups/stakeholders throughout the software project lifecycle. These cross-team groups could include Product Management, Sales, Engineering, Software Development, QA, and SaaS Operations organizations.
 
This is an individual contributor role where you will be responsible for managing, planning, and scheduling all project milestones and deliverables while coordinating with Software Development, QA, and SaaS Ops groups.

What you will be expected to do day-to-day:
  1. Work with multiple teams to prioritize items for project deliverables.
  2. Develop and manage project plans, project documentation, project schedules, resource plans and status reports.
  3. Communicate and report project progress and milestones on a daily, weekly, and/or monthly basis.
  4. Generate and maintain reports for projects, key performance indicators (KPIs), and SOPs.
  5. Ability to “wear many hats” that includes, project management, requirements gathering, leading JAD sessions, and backlog management.
  6. Serve as a single POC for the internal customers/stakeholders.
  7. Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s).
  8. Manage multiple projects simultaneously.

What you need to have:
  • 3 to 6 years of experience managing technical  software product-based & SaaS projects. Not looking for or wanting someone too Senior.
  • Background in business analysis or technical analysis.
  • Strong knowledge of the SDLC and experience working in a SaaS environment.
  • Ability to create project plans, track milestones and budgets.
  • Proficiency using Confluence, Jira, and MS Office Suite.
  • Experience with resource utilization planning.
  • Ability to work in a high-paced environment with changing requirements and priorities.
  • Strong planning, coordination, business, and technical writing skills.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
  • Must be a self-starter who is highly organized, hands-on, and focused on continuing professional development.
  • Excellent Presentation skills with the ability to present to teams and management, in person or via Zoom.
  • Ability to think critically and strategize effectively.
  • Solid understanding of Agile and Waterfall software development methodologies and industry best practices.
  • Are Innovative and self-motivated.
  • Have a strong sense of ownership and ability to drive projects, set the direction, report progress, and identify areas for improvement.
  • High energy level and passion for organizing information.
  • You take a creative approach to complicated issues and think outside of the box.
  • You are diplomatic and work well with multiple teams (onshore and offshore).
  • Have a 4-year college degree, preferably technical, IT, or business.
  • Agile Scrum certification is desired (Certified Scrum Master).

Pay:
A reasonable estimate of the Salary range for this role is $115,000 to $125,000 per year. The disclosed pay range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. The compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case, such as skills and experience levels.
