Type of Engagement: 36-month contract (Not open to 3rd party C2C consultants. Visa sponsorship is not available)
Work Location: Field position located in Central, FL
Candidates must reside in the Greater Orange, Osceola, Polk, Lake, Seminole, or Volusia counties
Required Skills & Experience:
Candidates must meet at least two of the following three criteria:
- Stakeholder Engagement Experience – Background in community relations or public engagement.
- Customer Delivery/Distribution Experience – Preferably in the energy or utilities sector.
- Infrastructure Experience – Experience in road projects, construction, or similar fields.
- Valid driver's license
Big Bonus Points if you Have:
- Prior experience in customer delivery/distribution
- Experience presenting and communicating with external audiences
- Adept at dealing with a variety of individuals and escalated situations
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Proficient in principles of project management
- Experience in the utility industry
- Customer-specific experience
- Demonstrated organizational and planning skills
- Demonstrated negotiation experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Community involvement experience in a personal or professional capacity
- Ability to lead cross functional teams
- Demonstrated problem solving and conflict management skills
- Ability to effectively interact with all levels of employees, management, customers, vendors and service providers in both business and social settings
- Experience in working with community organizations in a professional capacity
- Experience in working with mid-level, senior level management and their support staffs
- Experience with project and event planning
- Previous budget management experience
Job Overview:
We are seeking candidates for the following field positions in Florida:
- 1 Position in Coastal FL: Candidate must be located in Pinellas or Pasco counties.
- 2 Positions in Central FL: Candidates must be located in Orange, Osceola, Polk, Lake, Seminole, or Volusia counties.
- Monday – Friday, with occasional on-call duty (rare).
- Up to 5 hours of overtime per week.
- During storm season, hours may adjust as needed for major storm events (participation is voluntary).
Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Job Site Managers (JSMs) and project teams.
- Attend regular meetings and engage with property owners.
- Communicate project details and impacts to the public.
- Address customer complaints and community concerns.
- Coordinate with HOAs, local municipalities, and government agencies.
- Assist with property damage issues (e.g., water/sewer line damage) and resident relocations if necessary.

A reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role is $58.48 - $63.48 per hour. The disclosed pay range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. The compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case, such as skills and experience levels.
