JOB DESCRIPTION:
Seeking a Texas Registered Professional Land Surveyor (RPLS) to join our team working a Hybrid work schedule (M&F REMOTE & T/W/TH onsite) in West Houston, TX. This individual must have a RPLS in Texas. The RPLS will be responsible for the management, planning, scheduling and performance of multiple survey projects and personnel. We are looking for a candidate who will apply sound survey principles in planning, evaluating, and completing survey projects. In this role, you will review and approve field measurements and direct and assist with preparation of survey documents. You will also direct field surveys as required by scheduling or for professional supervisory and quality control purposes.
EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
- A.S. or B.S. Degree from an accredited college or university.
- Registered or Registered Professional Land Surveyor (RPLS) status in Texas
- Requires at least 5-10 years of relevant experience performing various types of boundary, topographic, pipeline and control surveys.
- A minimum of 5-10 years' experience as a Registered or Licensed Professional Land Surveyor.
- Oil & Gas Survey Experience (Large Pipeline projects including Preliminary Survey and As-Builts) - Required
- Energy Experience (Renewables, Utilities, EPC) - Desired
- Prefer 10-15 years of overall surveying experience coming from a field background with demonstrated career progression
- Excellent time management, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Working knowledge and hands on experience of Trimble survey equipment, Trimble Business Center and AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Desire someone capable of performing Business Development functions or that has a book of business to bring with them
- Strong attention to detail.
- Some travel may be required.
