Required Skills & Experience:
 
  • 5 + years experience in a radiology environment.
  • 3-5 years analytical experience supporting clinical applications in a multi-modality environment.
  • Experience implementing major clinical applications desirable.
  • Must be able to travel to remote offices and hospitals in the regions.
  • May include some evenings and weekends on an as needed basis.
  • Occasionally may crawl into small spaces; lifting of up to 25 lbs

Big Bonus Points if you Have:
 
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • RT certification.

Job Overview:

Our client is seeking a Clinical Applications Analyst to be responsible for the analysis, implementation, training, and support of our client’s clinical processes and applications. They will be responsible for maintaining Radiologist training documentation and helping the Project Leader/Project Manager with small to medium-sized projects.

Essential Job Responsibilities:
 
  • Act as liaison between IT and clinical end users to ensure end users’ needs are properly communicated to technical teams.
  • Work with technical teams to ensure proper testing is performed to verify design specifications have been met for applications / interfaces / integration.
  • Work with radiologists to determine the most efficient and effective workflow for them.
  • Responsible for managing end user clinical applications support issues to completion.  Coordinating with help desk, RIS Management personnel, end users, other IT personnel and vendors.
  • Develop and manage ongoing user training in image management applications for radiologists and support staff.
  • Verify training material is accurate and support the defined workflow and business processes as related to clinical applications and development.
  • In collaboration with the Clinical Systems Manager, develop plans for future projects including rolling out all upgrades / updates / functionality / Interfaces / Integration of clinical applications
  • Working with the client’s Compliance officer, ensure RIS/PACS systems and workflows comply with HIPAA privacy and confidentiality requirements.
  • Working with the IT Security officer, ensure RIS/PACS systems, workflows, access capabilities comply with HIPAA, IT policies and best practices for security.
  • Assist the Clinical Systems Manager in defining Radiologist training documentation and help train Radiologists on Clinical Applications
  • Assume other duties as required by supervisor.

A reasonable estimate of the Base Salary for this role is $90,000 - $95,000 per year. The disclosed pay range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.  The compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case, such as skills and experience levels.
