Job Title: SUE PM/PE
Type of Engagement: Perm Placement (Not open to 3rd party C2C consultants. Visa sponsorship is not available)
Work Location: Onsite - Denver, CO
Job Overview:
As a Project Engineer, you will assist in the oversight of SUE investigations and utility design plans. You will be responsible for managing utility design projects from preliminary site investigation through municipal submittal. The role includes oversight of junior staff and review of design plans, coordination with field operation supervisors, and working with municipalities to obtain design plan approval.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
• Communicate with clients on utility designs, conflicts, and resolutions
• Review and supervise junior staff members on Utility Plan set production
• Coordinate with governing municipalities through plan submittal process
• Recommend where supplemental field investigation is necessary
Required Skills & Experience:
• Colorado PE (or ability to obtain via reciprocity) highly desired
• EIT certification required
• Minimum 2 years of experience with utility design
• Local market experience preferred but not required
• Knowledgeable in the use of utility designation devices, ground penetrating radar, and vacuum excavators.
• Experience with technical software including AutoCAD Civil 3D, ArcGIS, and/or MicroStation platforms.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

A reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role is $90,000-$120,000 annual salary. The disclosed pay range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. The compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case, such as skills and experience levels.
