Are you an experienced Senior Project Manager - Data Center? If so, let’s talk!
 
Our client is actively seeking a talented Senior Project Manager - Data Center who lives in one of the New England states, preferably MA or southern NH. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity with our client.

The position will work from home 4 days/week with 1 day/week required on client site. Client sites will be local driving distance.

Job Overview:

A Data Center Senior Project Manager is a versatile team member and one who is critical to the success of our organization. A Senior Project Manager is responsible for supporting pre-sales activities, overseeing and coordinating design and installation  efforts, working collaboratively with partners, and managing customer communications.

Job Responsibilities:
 
  • Conducting site discovery and scoping visits to assess existing conditions and customer requirements. Utilize information observed onsite to develop project strategies and associated scope of work for contractors and consultants.
  • Supporting pre-sales activities through proposal and presentation development with customers and partners.
  • Preparing project cost estimates and technical proposals for prospective clients articulating Client’s services.
  • Overseeing and coordinating project implementations, including materials procurement and tracking, subcontractor communications and scheduling, and customer communication.
  • Managing the design and construction administration processes with our internal team, subconsultants, and the customer.
  • Ensuring project success through proactive documentation and communication with customers and partners.
  • Developing scope of work documents – written and diagrammatical – for subcontractors assisting with the construction of Client projects.
  • Ability to independently identify potential project issues in advance and ability to independently solve complex problems as they arise.

Requirements:
 
  • Bachelor’s Degree or relevant work experience
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of demonstrated work experience in a Project Management role for a design or construction firm
  • Knowledge of data center, mission critical, and/or electrical and mechanical systems
  • Proficiency in reading and understanding construction documents and specifications
  • Prior experience working in a virtual work environment
  • Native or fluent in English
  • Proficiency with technology, including Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook
  • Appetite for continuous learning and ongoing personal growth. Technologically proficient and capable of learning new technologies as required for project work.

Preferred Skills:
 
  • Proficiency with construction and drafting technologies, including AutoCAD and REVIT

A reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role is $100,000 - $110,000 per year.

The disclosed pay range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.  The compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case, such as skills and experience levels.
