Type: Direct Hire
Work Location: Hybrid Position in Clearwater, FL
Candidates must reside in the Greater Tampa / Clearwater, FL area.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Must have at least 5-7 years in AEC Industry and 5-7 years of similar work experience (including Revit and AutoCAD experience).
- Demonstratable experience in HVAC mechanical design and construction document production.
- Experience with HVAC mechanical, plumbing and fire protection systems.
- Good technical and communication skills required.
- Methodical, precise and consistent but enjoys some variety in work schedule and can tolerate change.
- Enjoys working on a project team and training and mentoring entry level designers and engineers.
- Must be able to climb ladders and perform field survey duties.
- Ability to travel on a limited basis throughout the state of Florida.
- Will require a valid driver's license and an acceptable motor vehicle record.
- Requires an acceptable background screening.
Big Bonus Points if you Have:
- EIT or PE
- Experience with healthcare work and higher education projects
The Senior Mechanical Designer will provide technical and design services in support of mechanical design projects as part of a multi-discipline project team.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Provides technical and design services in support of mechanical design projects as part of a multi-discipline project team to produce HVAC mechanical, plumbing and fire protection design/construction drawings and specifications for institutional, commercial and industrial facilities.
- Will be responsible for completing design tasks within budget and on schedule, managing other designers and communicating with Project Manager, Sr. Mechanical Engineer, clients and design team to complete projects efficiently.

A reasonable estimate of the Base Salary for this role is $90,000 - $120,000 per year +Company paid ESOP. The disclosed pay range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. The compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case, such as skills and experience levels.
