Candidates must reside in the greater Charlotte, NC area.
Required Skills & Experience:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, Geomatics, or a related field preferred but not required. Some positions might accept
- Equivalent work experience in lieu of a degree
- 3-6 years of experience in land surveying with project management experience
- Must be able to see visual entities on a screen.
- Must be able to type/key commands as needed for Computer Aided Drafting programs.
- Must be able to sit for extended periods
- Strong organizational skills.
- Mastery of surveying practices and legal standards.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to represent the department and company.
- Proficient with the latest AutoCAD and Civil 3D software.
Job Overview:
The individual in this role is a leader in the department that oversees multiple survey projects related to boundary and topo. This role ensures operational excellence and strategic growth within the department and requires a deep understanding of both technical and legal aspects of surveying. Individual does not need to be licensed for this role.
Essential Job Responsibilities:

- Manage and oversee multiple surveying projects for boundary and topo from start to finish, ensuring that all project deliverables are completed on time and within budget.
- Develop project plans, budgets, and timelines in collaboration with clients, stakeholders, and project teams.
- Attend networking events & client meetings to generate additional work in the CLT area
- Monitor project progress and provide regular status updates to clients and stakeholders.
- Ensure that all surveying work is performed in compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and specifications.
- Manage project resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to ensure that project goals are met.
- Coordinate and communicate with other project teams, including contractors, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Review and approve project documentation, including survey reports, drawings, and plans.

A reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role is $35.00 - $40.00 per hour. The disclosed pay range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. The compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case, such as skills and experience levels.
