Job Title: Stormwater Sr. Project Manager
Type: Direct Hire
Work Location: Hybrid position located in Charlotte, NC (3 days/week in office)
Candidates must reside in the Greater Charlotte, NC area.
Required Skills & Experience:
Â
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
- 10+ years of Stormwater engineering/industry experience with demonstrated team management experience
- Professional Engineer License
- Self-motivated, engaged, and team-oriented with the ability to work independently under minimal supervision
- Strong leadership and project management skills as well as excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Knowledge of contracts, accounting principles, including budgeting and forecasting
- Execute multiple tasks under tight deadlines and prioritize responsibilities
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Proven track record of fostering existing client relationships
- Demonstrate personal investment in your career
- Energetic, flexible, confident, and forward thinking
Physical Requirements:
- The assignment may occasionally require repetitive physical tasks (such as operating a computer), standing and/or sitting for extended periods of time, extended time travelling in a vehicle, and carrying equipment and materials up to 25 pounds.
Job Overview:
In this role, you will lead, and support projects focused on stormwater management, watershed planning, drainage design, flood mitigation, and environmental compliance. You’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative solutions that enhance water quality, improve infrastructure resilience, and support sustainable development.
Job Responsibilities:

- Key responsibilities include designing stormwater systems, conducting hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, preparing technical reports, and ensuring projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
- The ideal candidate will have experience in stormwater management, water resources engineering, or related fields, along with proficiency in modeling software such as HEC-RAS, SWMM, or similar tools.

A reasonable estimate of the Base Salary for this role is $140,000 - $145,000 per year. The disclosed pay range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. The compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case, such as skills and experience levels.
