Our client is actively seeking a talented Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) with a TS/SCI clearance in Raleigh, NC. This is a fulltime permanent opportunity with our client.
Job Overview:
Our client has an immediate need for an experienced IT Professional to serve as an Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) for the Integrated Missions System (IMS) Sector. In this position, you will manage information systems that adhere to government regulations in a SCIF environment, these duties include maintaining and monitoring compliant information systems for use on Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) government contracts.
The successful applicant will become a member of an IT Support team that provides tier 1, tier 2, and tier 3 level support to several divisions. The local IT Support team supports approximately 800 users, in addition to providing secure computing support directly to government contracts.

A reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role is $85,000 - $137,000 per year.
The disclosed pay range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. The compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case, such as skills and experience levels.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree with 5-7 years of experience, equivalent professional experience (at least 11 years) will be considered for talented candidates without a degree
- Current active TS/SCI Clearance
- Perform oversight of the development, implementation, and evaluation of information system security programs and policies
- Assist in ensuring compliance with Department of Defense (DoD) regulations, Intelligence Community Directives (ICDs), and Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs)
- Manage and prepare for Government Agency inspections
- Manage and adhere to Risk Management Framework (RMF) assessment and authorizations
- Liaison with Government Security Control Assessor (SCA)Cisco (or equivalent) management
- Windows Server experience
- Patch management experience
- Linux experience
- Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP) (or within 6 months of hire)
- Ability to work independently and exercise good judgment
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or related field
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Experience in scripting and/or automation
- Experience with performing system audits and vulnerability scans
- Experience with Intelligence Community Directive 705
- XACTA experience
- Information Technology related certification
