Our client is actively seeking a talented Tech Bar Support Technician located in Atlanta. GA. This is a 12-month contract opportunity.
This position is an onsite opportunity.
Overview:
Provide direct technical support to end users at the Client location beyond what is delivered by the Help Desk with the primary goal of restoring functionality. Services consist of centralized support of laptops, desktops, peripherals, hardware, and software problem resolution.
Job Responsibilities:
A reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role is $25.00 - $30.00 per hour.
The disclosed pay range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. The compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case, such as skills and experience levels.

Provide direct technical support to end users at the Client location beyond what is delivered by the Help Desk with the primary goal of restoring functionality. Services consist of centralized support of laptops, desktops, peripherals, hardware, and software problem resolution.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide onsite technical support for Client end users.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot end user computing and mobile device issues including analyzing the problem, identifying the appropriate solution, testing proposed fixes, and following up through resolution.
- Reload standard OS image electronically, if required, based on problem determination.
- Virus and malware eradication using agreed upon procedures.
- Acquire and maintain knowledge of relevant policies to provide accurate solutions to end users.
- Respond to Client inquiries in accordance with organizational standards in a timely manner.
- Organize “how-to” learning sessions on new technology in the client environment (e.g. Windows 11, setting up Wi-Fi on smart devices, etc.) pending workload and customer demand.
- 3+ years of experience with end user technology support in enterprise environments.
- Strong technical knowledge of supported software and hardware platforms.
- Understanding of account environment and Service Levels.
- Excellent client communication skills.
- Windows 10/11, macOS, Chrome OS, Ubuntu, iOS, and Android.
- Device management with Workspace One (required), Intune and MECM.
- Desktop Firewalls, VPNs, BitLocker, and Defender.
- Microsoft 365, Teams, Slack, Zoom, and Webex.
- Ticketing via ServiceNow, Jira, or BMC Remedy / Helix.
- Client Knowledge Base and specific application.
- Printers, Fax, and Scanners.
