A reasonable estimate of the Base Salary for this role is $75,000 - $80,000 per year. The disclosed pay range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. The compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case, such as skills and experience levels.

The successful candidate will provide technical experience while expanding Transportation Services portfolio. This role will collaborate with cross-functional teams while reporting to the Director of Transportation.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct transportation studies and traffic impact analysis
- Assist in project team management and provide technical support for traffic data collection, analysis, and reporting
- Develop intersection capacity analyses, signal timing plans, and geometric designs
- Participate in parking demand studies and multimodal transportation assessments
- Prepare technical reports and presentations for clients and regulatory agencies
- Attend client meetings and support project presentations
- Support junior staff development
- Contribute to business development initiatives
Required Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, or Transportation Planning
- 4-8 years of progressive experience in Traffic Engineering and/or Transportation Planning
- Proficiency with software: Synchro/SimTraffic, HCS, SIDRA, and VISSIM
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, AutoTurn, and ArcGIS
- Strong knowledge of the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD)
- Strong knowledge in Traffic Signal Design
- Strong knowledge of Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) Plans
Big Bonus Points if you Have:
- Developing client relationship management skills
- Experience managing project budgets and schedules
- Ability to work with multidisciplinary teams
- Technical writing and presentation skills
- Problem-solving abilities with focus on innovative solutions
- AICP Certificate or Professional Engineering (P.E.) license
