Job Description
Type: Direct Hire
Work Location: Hybrid position located in Cary, NC (3 days/week in office)
Candidates must reside in the Greater Cary/Raleigh, NC area.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
- North Carolina Licensed Professional Engineer
- 4-7+ years of experience in treatment design and infrastructure projectsÂ
- Proficiency in hydraulic modeling, treatment process design, pump station design, and utility infrastructure
- Self-motivated, engaged, and team-oriented with the ability to work independently under minimal supervision
- Strong leadership and project management skills as well as excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Knowledge of contracts, accounting principles, including budgeting and forecasting
- Execute multiple tasks under tight deadlines and prioritize responsibilities
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Proven track record of fostering existing client relationships
In this role, you will contribute to the planning, design, and management of water and wastewater treatment facilities, pumping stations, distribution, and collection systems. You will oversee project execution, develop process designs, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.Â
Ideal candidates have experience in water/wastewater treatment processes, hydraulic modeling, permitting, and construction administration, with a passion for delivering sustainable and resilient water infrastructure solutions.

A reasonable estimate of the Base Salary for this role is $120,000 - $140,000 per year. The disclosed pay range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. The compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case, such as skills and experience levels.
